The Ohio State University Honey Bee Laboratory at Wooster, Ohio, is a multi-purpose laboratory encompassing both extension and research responsibilities. Located on the campus of the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center, bee laboratory personnel provides international bee culture training, provides bee information to the public, conducts behavioral and pollination research, and supports the research programs of other commodity groups. The program is composed of a honey processing facility, approximately 200 hives, a small research laboratory, a honey bee museum, and a queen production out-building.
